KOR is proud to be associated with a world-class team of strategic partners to help execute its strategy of personal sustainable hydration.
RKS Design
In the fall of 2005, KOR approached several world-class design firms with a challenge: “reimagine” the reusable water bottle. After an extensive due diligence process, KOR selected RKS – a perennial Business Week IDEA award winner – for their outstanding track record of successful consumer products and their ability to merge strategy with innovation. RKS took KOR’s concept to a new level, developing an iconic shape and functional enhancements that surpassed all expectations. |
Eastman
KOR’s focus on health means that the safety of the materials used in its products is of the utmost
importance. After an exhaustive evaluation of available materials, KOR began discussions in 2006
with Eastman to a use a new, BPA-free material they were developing called Tritan. Not only does
Tritan exclude the toxin BPA found in polycarbonate, it offers incredible, glass-like clarity with
durability. KOR and Eastman have worked closely to develop the KOR ONE vessel over this past
two years. Eastman, formerly part of Eastman-Kodak, is a FORTUNE 500 company with 2007 sales
of $6.9 billion.

Nypro
KOR required a manufacturing partner that shared its concerns for quality, sustainability and corporate values. After receiving numerous proposals from companies in China, Taiwan, and the U.S., KOR chose Nypro, the leading U.S. provider of integrated plastics solutions. A fifty-year old firm, with over $1 billion in annual sales, Nypro operates 52 separate businesses in 17 countries and manufactures products for many of the world’s leading consumer product companies. Nypro has rallied around KOR’s vision to forge a partnership with the goal of long-term growth.
